Photograph of an exterior view of Alexandria Stables, with William E. Christie standing in front, 1902. The single-story clapboard stables stretch across the image from left to right. A large open doorway can be seen at right, and Christie is visible in the doorway wearing a suit and a hat. The name of the stables is painted across the top of the building in large letters. Christie was end man of Christie Minstrels, New York, pioneer Los Angeles cab man, and Jim Jeffries' friend.
