This three-story reinforced concrete building is The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company's new Burbank telephone office at 280 E. Palm Avenue. The dial equipment in this building will serve 8,600 new dial telephones after midnight Saturday. Photograph dated October 16, 1947.
