Description
A large group portrait, Los Angeles, 1924. A mixed group of some Japanese American and Caucasian, finely dressed people gathered on the steps of a supposedly new building, decorated with banners for an event. The building has sloping eaves similar to a Japanese temple architecture. Several Japanese American children are seated at the front of the portrait. There is an inscription at the bottom of the photograph in Chinese characters. The photograph is in good condition, minor delamination of adhesive on the reverse.
