Still suffering from wounds from his bombing, Harry Raymond is shown on April 29, 1938, when he went to court to testify against Earle Kynette and two former police "spy squad" officers. Raymond testified that Kynette warned him against his investigations and said, "You can't put the heat on the administration." He also said he overheard Kynette say, as he passed, "It won't be long before I take care of him."
