Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Los Cerritos Ranch House, Long Beach, 1890. The long two-story adobe, built in 1844 by John Temple, is visible to the right of center, partially obscured by tree growth and what appears to be wheat or corn growing in the front yard. Roses climb up on the beams on left side to the balcony level. A water pump is visible in the yard to the left, the ground dry and covered with brush. A second house is visible in the left distance.
