Photograph of a birdseye view of San Francisco's Bayshore Freeway looking north at "Hospital Curve", June 17, 1959. The eight-lane freeway is at center and curves around a hill in the distance at left. The traffic coming towards the viewer is quite heavy, while the four lanes headed away are nearly empty. There are many bushes and trees on the embankments bordering the freeway. The San Francisco General Hospital is behind the bushes at left.
