Photograph caption dated September 8, 1958 reads, "Bert Goodrich, director of public relations, left, explains to Sam Hunter, vice president, some of features of plush interior of another soon-to-be-opened San Fernando Valley Silhouette Figure Form International Salon, where more than $50,000 worth of weight reduction and figure perfection equipment is being installed. Goodrich, first 'Mr. America,' and Hunter supervise operation of 275 studios located in United States, Canada and Mexico, where 'Easy Does It' mechanical equipment makes salon visits a pleasure. Total cost of the new salon, which will be personally inspected by American Health President Raymond A. Wilson, will exceed $100,000."
