Photograph caption dated October 14, 1985 reads, "Los Angeles city firefighters use the 'Jaws of Life' to extricate the victim of a wreck, which occurred when the car, going from the westbound Santa Monica Freeway to the northbound Harbor Freeway, hit a water barrier at the transition. There were injuries to both occupants of the car, according to a California Highway Patrolman at the scene."
