Truck manager Joe Calagna, left, and Mike Dell'Era worked out the specifications of the C-800 to a legal 12-ton net with many special features including Ford's new '396' engine and Transmatic transmission. This vehicle was the highlight at the last two truck shows in the Los Angeles area. The Bill Heath staff specializes in this line. Virgil, his father and two brothers are contract haulers for Industrial Asphalt Company headquartered in Sun Valley."
