Description
This permit allows Misao Okada to leave the Amache Incarceration Camp in Amache, Colorado to travel to Salt Lake City, Utah. This is the front side of the permit card. The backside, which has her finger print is described in item csudh_oka_0077. Item from Misao Okada’s album.
Misao Okada’s scrapbook contains photographs, ephemera, notes, and correspondence documenting her time at Amache and a visit and reunion over 50 years later. The scrapbook also includes materials relating to reparations and events observing Japanese American incarceration.
