Photograph article dated March 30, 1961 partially reads, "Marilyn Gormley, a sophomore at St. Genevieve's High School, Van Nuys, has been selected as the Outstanding Junior of the Los Angeles Archdiocese, according to Dolores M. Lundmark, junior chairman of Court Mary Immaculate 1683 Catholic Daughters of America. Marilyn...is front page editor of her school's newspaper, court reporter of Court Mary Immaculate, recording secretary of St. Charles Chi Rho Club, secretary of the Sophomore Sodality at the school, 'Miss School Spirit of 1960' and a member of the Drama and Glee clubs."
