Description
Jonathan Kirsch discusses his book, “King David.” He begins by explaining that the book is the story of King David from the Bible. He goes on to discuss the extensive research that he conducted in order to write this book. In this interview, Kirsch also tells the story of David, from his childhood through his death. He also goes on to discuss the role of Michal, King Saul’s daughter and David’s wife. Kirsch shares his analysis of the historicity of the story of David and David’s role during his own time period, comparing David to such figures as President John F. Kennedy.
