Photograph included in the exhibit: "From Hula Hoops to Hanoi: L.A. Concerns, 1954-1965."
Photograph caption dated Janaury 23, 1961 reads, "Grant Marcus,10, lobs a marble in the park. North Hollywood boy says other kids just not interested." Officials from the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks shared that fewer kids are participating in neighborhood marble contests, as interest has been falling off.
