Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph article dated October 3, 1963 partially reads, "Thirty-one Valley boys are still floating on clouds. Reality is something they know nothing about. They are still remembering, reliving and being honored for their exploits on baseball fields against the best ball-playing youngsters in the world. These young gentlemen - 17 members of the western champion Canoga Park-Woodland Hills Pony League team and 14 members of the world champion Granada Hills Little League team - have established their right to be called 'the best' and are presently appearing to be feted by service clubs, their parent baseball leagues and their home communities." Photograph caption reads, "Honors - Members of the world champion Little League team from Granada Hills were honored at Valley Times banquet (below) with Pony League team. Above, Valley Times publisher Ben Reddick presents plaque to Larry Yount, one of Pony League stars." See images 00156749 through 00156756 for all photos in this series."
