Photograph caption dated May 2, 1963 reads, "Victoria Carillo and Larry Walukiewicz, students at Charles Lowman School for Handicapped Children, North Hollywood, get preview look at fire fighting equipment from Lynn Nelson, commander of San Fernando Valley fire companies. Local stations will observe Fire Service Day Saturday with open house. Others attending preview were Russell Quisenberry, president, North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and Verna Felton, North Hollywood's honorary mayor."
