Description
Deputy Probation Officer Al Franklin and two boys examine gang legends and emblems on a wall in the East Los Angeles Happy Valley area on March 4, 1965. The boys are members of the Happy Valley gang, one of the most active in the area. Franklin is with the County Probation Department's Group Guidance program.
