Description
"Unwedding Welds -- Richard Thiel (left) and Ronald Sommers put asunder what hundreds of workers at the American Motors plant in Kenosha, Wisconsin join together -- Renault Alliance and Encore bodies. Bodies selected at random are cut apart by Thiel and Sommers so they can inspect placement and size of welds struck on the plant's highly-automated framing line. The Disassembly is carried out to assure that structural integrity of Alliance and Encore bodies is maintained."
