Wittekleibosch: Der kaffrische Kirchdiener läutet die an einem Baumast aufgeh. Glocke." ("Wittekleibosch: The Kaffir verger rings the bell that is hung up at a tree branch."). The picture shows a man of African origin with an old suit and a white shirt. He pulls a string, thereby ringing a bell that is hung up at a branch of a tree next to him on the left. In front of his feet lies a hat. Bushes and a fence made of wooden sticks and wire are in the background. Written on the card board: "P. Theile. 1934.
