Description
M. A. Gunst & Co. (left), built a handsome, Moorish-themed pavilion from which they sold tobacco-related goods. The building was designed by leading San Francisco firm Ward and Blohme, whose partner Clarence Ward served on the architectural commission of the Exposition and also designed the immense Palace of Machinery. The building on the right housed a shooting gallery, one of two originally built on the Zone. However, as it became clear that only one shooting gallery was necessary, the other was converted into a souvenir stand.
