Photograph of a Pima Indian granary, Gila River Reservation, ca.1900. The granary can be seen at center and is made of branches. The frame of the low hut is made from sticks tied together at right angles, while the roof is covered with thatched grass and sticks. There are large baskets for holding grain in the structure.
