Description
A woman in exhibition or morning dress. The woman wears a long, white, empire-waisted dress with long sleeves and blue shoes. The collar is high and is edged with a small ruffle. The rest of the dress is plain. She wears a white bonnet with a ruffled brim and a yellow flower on the front. Over her right arm and behind her back is draped a blue shawl. She sits on a chaise-longue with red upholstery. Her left foot rests on the small matching ottoman. Open on her lap is a book of sheet music.
