Description
Architect's drawing of the new students' union building for the University of California at Los Angeles. Mrs. William G. Kerckhoff, widow of the late capitalist and civic figure, is the donor of the $600,000 structure. The building, to be known as Kerckhoff union, will be on the west end of the new campus and include publication offices, co-operative store, student cafeteria and rooms for general use of the student body. Building was completed in 1930 in a Gothic Revival style, designed by Allison and Allison (Austin Whittlesey), Architects. Photo dated: May 27, 1929.
