These photographs are contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." No written text for photo on page 213 bottom. Text written under photo on page 214 top: "Clowning Shrine Parade 1922." Text written under photo on page 214 center: "Shriner's Parade 'Haram [sic] Girl' Impersonated by G.B. Meyer Muskoyee [sic, Muskogee] Okla. June 22 1922-Market St San Francisco." View 1 (v2p213c). Shows line of Shriners marching 22 abreast up Market Street -- View 2 (v2p214a). Shows clown walking down Market past delighted onlookers during the Shrine parade. No other marchers are evident -- View 3 (v2p214b). Shows male Shriner impersonating a harem girl, also in front of delighted onlookers. One other marcher can be seen striding down the street to the right. The Schwabacher-Frey Stationary Co. is visible in the background.
