Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on October 3, 1973 states: "Local dignitaries and interested observers were on hand to watch the dedication ceremonies of the Florin Road off-ramp at Highway 99. A ribbon cutting and radio-controlled aircraft performance chronicled the hoped for end of the hazards at the inersection, which reportedly have contributed to over 50 vehicle accidents yearly. The widening of the road there is hoped to provide a safer on-and-off-ramp."
