Fire broke out at an ammunition shop and shooting range, identified as the Tri-City Gun Shop and Shooting range, located in the 4400 block of E. Slauson Avenue in Maywood. It is believed the fire started in the basement of the plant, which was formerly a theater, but the cause of the blaze was still under investigation. Three firefighters were injured. Photograph dated September 24, 1987.
