Description
"An der Spitze eines Dampfers durchs rote Meer" ("At the head of a steamboat across the Red Sea"). Hermann Hornbostel on a steamboat. Hermann Hornbostel (1913-1985) was a carpenter. He served the Hermannsburg mission in Ethiopia from 1934 to 1941 and from 1951 to 1956. He was interned by the British from 1942 to 1948. Hornbostel was married to Gertrud, née Tangermann.
