Photograph caption dated January 5, 1956 reads, "More than 700,000 passengers yearly pass through busy Lockheed Air Terminal waiting room, above. Airport handles one-fourth of all non-scheduled air traffic in United States in addition to 31,000,000 pounds of air freight annually.
