View 7: is looking at the bridge which connects Hilgard Avenue to the main campus quadrangle at the U.C.L.A. Westwood campus. The gully over which the bridge passed was filled in after World War I. Bridge was designed by architect George W. Kelham. The twin towers of Royce Hall may be seen on the left. Building was built in 1928-29 and designed by Allison and Allison, Architects. On the right is Haines Hall, built in 1928 and designed my architect George W. Kelham. Both buildings were constructed in a northern Italian Romanesque Revival style.
