Description
Letter to potentially eligible persons of Japanese ancestry for compensation of $20,000. Document includes filing instructions, declaration of eligibility by a living person identified by the Office of Redress Administration, and list of documents to be submitted.
George Oki (Nisei), born March 9, 1927 to Magoichi and Masayo (nee Kamada) Oki in Sacramento, California. He was incarcerated at Pinedale Temporary Assembly Center and Poston II Incarceration Camp. He became a control tower operator in the Army Air Forces Communications System Unit in post-WWII occupied Japan at Itazuke Air Force Base in Kyushu, Japan.
