Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph article dated August 28, 1963 partially reads, "There were dozens of signs - 'Welcome Home Champs!' and 'We're Proud of You World Champions' - as a large and noisy crowd waited for the big jet airliner's doors to open. When they finally swung out, it wasn't Walter O'Malley's Dodgers or the Yankees who stepped out to meet the public at International Airport. Instead, 14 small boys stepped out, blinking." Photograph caption reads, "David Bees of the Granada Hills National Little League All-Stars relaxes - Bubble-gum chewing Bees and his 13 teammates came home Tuesday to huge welcoming crowds."
