Photograph caption dated November 28, 1961 reads "Tom Morris, Van Nuys High School senior, is seen winning East Valley League cross country finals yesterday at Pierce College. Above (pictured), 56 runners compete in 1.9 mile grind. Arrow points to Morris as field starts gruelling [sic] race." Pierce College is in Woodland Hills. See image 00157843 for additional photo in this series.
