Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated September 17, 1956 reads, "Statue of priest giving lessons to two young boys dominates entrance of St. John Baptist de la Salle temporary sanctuary in Granada Hills. It was designed by E. Lawrence Ott, A.I.A., of Los Angeles. Architecture is designed to blend with later buildings, many of them church classrooms for Sunday school classes. Huge influx of families to Valley has brought demand for flexible buildings which can be easily expanded."
