Aerial view of the Ford Motor Company, Mercury Plant site located at 8900 E. Washington Boulevard in Pico Rivera; view is looking east. The plant, still under construction, is located on the corner of Rosemead Boulevard (upper right) and Washington Boulevard (slightly horizontally at middle); Rex Road is visible at extreme bottom (right corner). The 157-acre manufacturing facility was dedicated on May 6, 1948; the plant closed in 1980 and was purchased by Northrop Grumman in 1982. Photograph dated February 19, 1957.
