Photograph article dated April 24, 1964 partially reads, "The Cotillion Club of San Fernando Valley will present their fourth annual Royal Ball, under the direction of Eleanor and Walter Hempel, Sherman Oaks, May 1 at the Culver City Memorial Auditorium. The evening's entertainment will be preceded by the entrance of the Royal Court. Queen Marian Beck and King Allen Martin, left, will dance the coronation waltz before making their way to the stage where last year's King and Queen, David Allison and Pamela Saunders, will crown them. Assisting will be Kent Burns, crown boy, and Linda Binford, flower girl. Shown in photo with the royal couple are Craig Hurst, prince, and Amy Cortland, princess."
