Photograph of hundreds of people sitting (mostly) on the beach in front of the North Beach bath house (not visible), ca.1905. Many of them have umbrellas. Others are in the surf or the water. The old wharf extends across the image to the right. There are numerous people on the wharf as well. View is looking south with the ocean on the right. Several American flags fly on poles adjacent to the boardwalk (not visible) at left.
