Description
Gabrielino nation: Spirit of the sage, San Pedro, 1995. A-1 Photo, exterior, 1306 Pacific Avenue (at 13th Street), San Pedro. A tribute to the indigenous people who originally lived in the area. The main figure is Vera Rocha, the current Gabrielino chief. The sage is a sacred plant to the Gabrielinos, used in the spiritual rituals.
