Description
V1p236c In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 236 bottom. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written under photo: "Turn Verin [sic] Hall Sutter Street 1907." Photo is of a three-story Germanic looking building on the north side of Sutter between Pierce and Steiner. A sign on the front of the building advertises a fair being held to celebrate the opening of the hall. A woman is standing in front of the hall. A milk wagon is parked down the street at the right. At the left, "To Let" signs can be seen in the windows of a frame dwelling.
