Located at 8433 Sunset Boulevard, Ciro's opened in 1940 and closed in 1957. During the 1960s, it was a rock club. The Comedy Store has existed at the site since 1972. Looking down upon the Sunset Strip in what would later become West Hollywood on July 22, 1949. Seen are Ciro's (right of center), Foster and Kleiser billboards for Eastside Beer and Acme beer, and homes.
