Guirado had taken possession of the land and sowed a portion of it the prior year. Described as: Contiguous to Rancheria de los Poblanos, contiguous on the West to the Main Road to San Pedro, bounded by the same, 350 varas in a Southerly direction 50 degrees East thence in a Southerly direction 40 degrees West bounded by lands of Abel Stearns 320 varas thence Northerly 50 degrees West 270 varas, bounded by the lands of Paula Alanis thence Northerly 26 degrees East, with the lands of Julian Valdez, to the road and point of beginning, 336 varas.
