Knobcone pine on a WYP site. Sargent cypress also present. Note remnant WYP started. Soil is sand. Rock outcrops sandstone. Brush species: Adenostoma fasciculatum, Rhamnus californica, Ericameria ericoides, Arctostaphylos tomentosa, Quercus wislizenii frutescens. Rhus diversiloba, Pteris, bush lupine, large berried non sprouting manzanita. (Foilage bluish gray)
