Description
Photograph of fire approaching the residential district of San Francisco, viewed from market Street and 14th Street, 1906. People set up tents and park horse-drawn carriages in the open field in the foreground on the left while others drive their carriages through the intersection on the right. The crowded residential distract stands behind them while a massive cloud broods over the background. The fire will destroy everything in view.
