Several hundred Red sympathizers picketed the Federal Building in protest against Judge Peirson M. Hall's calling of the contempt of court cases against nine recalcitrant witnesses. Pickets later went up to the corridors near Judge Hall's court, and police officers were called to keep them in order. Photo dated: March 29, 1949.
