Description
Image of a high view of San Francisco from the west looking toward Yerba Buena Island. The harbor is filled with ships. "J. Clark."--text, below image. Paper color: buff.
Baird notes that, along with "View of San Francisco February 1850," this is one of the earliest letter sheets. It was issued before February 9, 1850, and possibly late 1849.
