Galen Center, a USC facility, is a 255,000-square-foot arena, which holds 10,258 seats to support USC Trojans' basketball and volleyball, as well as a 45,000-square-foot pavilion including three practice courts and offices. It is located on the southeast corner of Jefferson Blvd. and Figueroa Street and was inaugurated on October 21, 2006, with a construction cost of $147 million dollars. The architectural firm behind the design of the Galen Center was HNTB Corporation (formerly Howard, Needles, Tammen & Bergendoff).
