Ocean Avenue, Palisades Park, the La Monica Ballroom on the Santa Monica Pier, and the Santa Monica Yacht Harbor are visible beyond the hotel grounds.

Title transcribed from negative; date supplied by cataloger based on history of the Santa Monica Yacht Harbor Breakwater, which was built in 1934, and the demolition of the Miramar mansion, previously owned by former United States Senator John P.
