Hill Street on Fort Moore Hill, the two-story Central Junior High School building was built in 1936 by the City of Los Angeles Board of Education and designed by architect A. C. Zimmerman in the Mediterranean Revival Style. In later years, the campus was known as the Los Angeles City Board of Education Administrative Offices with the address of 450 N. Grand Avenue. Seen north of the Santa Ana Freeway/US 101 are the Los Angeles City Board of Education Administrative Offices, formerly Central Junior High School, on Fort Moore Hill.
