Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Photograph caption dated September 26, 1966 reads "Actress in court to back suit for $9.6 million." Hedy Lamarr can be seen with her lawyer Jordan Wank at the Superior Court where she attempted to stop the publication of her autobiography "Ecstasy and Me" pending a suit she filed against publishers for $9.6 million in damages. She claimed that the book's account of her love life was "libelous and obscene."
