Photograph of a view of Charles Victor Hall's subdivision of the George Dalton, Sr. tract, a former ranch at Washington and Central Avenue, showing a sign advertising its sale, ca.1900-1910. A real estate sign sits in the right centerground of the image, in a rural landscape. The sign reads: "The Cha.s Victor Hall Subdivision of the Dalton Tract. Fine Improvements. Large Lots and Avenues. Prices Very Reasonable and Easy Terms. In the Center of the City. For particulars Inquire of Cha.s Victor Hall. Room 5. 41 Spring St". The foreground is filled by a dirt road or path that runs horizontally across the image another dirt path curves from the left background to meet this path. A picket fence runs from the real estate sign to the left background, along the edge of the second dirt path. Trees are visible in the left centeground and in the right background.
