Photograph caption dated June 29, 1960 reads, "Double County goof." News article chids the County of Los Angeles for announcing the sale of peacock eggs for $5 per dozen. Article points out that peacocks do not lay eggs, as their female counterpart, the peahen, is responsible for producing eggs.
