"Die Erstanlage der Station Rutenganyo. Blick nach dem Malila-Gebirge hin." ("The first layout of the Rutenganio station. View towards the Malila Mountains."). Landscape with fields and trees. Rectangular buildings thatched with plant fiber. One building with corrugated iron roof in the back right. A steeple in the middle of the settlement.
Photo included from the box of duplicates. -- Large parts of the photo have been mended with black-and white paint. -- The photo was possibly taken in 1896(?).
